Our Ministries

Operating by way of the Holy Spirit and according to God's word. Here at TC we have several ministry to serve God's people inside and outside of the four walls of the church. Please see a ministry leader to join one of the ministries below. We look forward to you joining and serving with us!

Hospitality Committee

Help promote fellowship throughout the church

• Greet new members and visitors
• Work with other committees
• Help maintain calendar of events
• Provide food for events
• Promote and share the history of the church
• Manage visitors through follow up with thank you card/phone calls
• Incorporate visitor's cards
• Send flowers to church members in the event of death to immediate family members and birth of children

Women's Ministry

Support the vision and mission of the church and pastor while building a strong woman

• Engage in personal ministry
• Equip women with the word of truth
• Take personal responsibility
• Empower others through in/outreach
• Strengthen the bond of fellowship

Men's Ministry

Support the vision and mission of the church and pastor while building a strong man

• Engage in personal ministry
• Equip men with the word of truth
• Take personal responsibility
• Empower others through in/outreach
• Strengthen the bond of fellowship

Youth Ministry

Support the vision and mission of the local church and the pastor

• Help youth develop a relationship with Jesus Christ
• Provide resources to grow
• Create opportunities to witness
• Disciple youth through the Bible
• Help discover gifts and talents

Praise Team

Support the vision and mission of the local church and the pastor

• Lead worship through music and songs during weekly services
• Select and prepare music and songs for media
• Organize other artistic means of worship (dance, drama, visual arts)

Outreach

Support the vision and mission of the local church and the pastor

• Reach inward to encourage to reach outward
• Encourage others to volunteer
• Plan events
• Introduce people to the love of God
• Become culturally relevant

Transportation

Support the vision and mission of the local church and the pastor

• Provide transportation for weekly services

• Maintain routine maintenance and upkeep of the church's vehicle  

Event Committee

Support the vision and mission of the local church and the pastor

• Plan Pastor's Appreciation, Family and Friends Day, Church Anniversary, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Fruit of the Harvest (Oversee events from start to finish)

• Generate apportionments for events
• Look for volunteers
• Contact churches, vendors, and sponsors
• Promote events in a timely manner
• Maintain communication with other auxiliaries
