Our Pastor

Pastor Terence Sapp is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He is the son of the the late Reverend Zolley and Lizzie H. Sapp. Affectionately known as a family oriented man; he is the husband of Lady Demetrice Sapp. They were united in marriage on the 19th day of June 1999. They are the proud parents of 4 loving children, Shaniqua Stevenson, Terence R. Sapp, Terence S. Sapp, and Cameron Z. Sapp and the delighted grandparents of Tyson Stevenson and Jace Cave.

He was educated in the Duval County Public School system. He graduated from Jean Ribault High School in 1987. Upon completion of high school, he attended Savannah State College in Savannah, Georgia. He later transferred to Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Pastor Sapp was first ordained as a Minister by the Church of God by Faith, Inc. in December 2007. The ministry of Elder Sapp consists of preaching and teaching. He served as Associate Minister at Thomas Chapel Church of God by Faith, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, where Elder June Lundy was Pastor. He also served as a member of the Leadership Team and the Evangelistic Outreach Team.

On December 17, 2011 after successfully completing the required 8 years of training, Pastor Sapp was ordained an Elder by the Church of God by Faith, Inc. in Atlanta, GA. He was appointed "Elder in Charge" of Thomas Chapel Church of God by Faith in December 2011 where he performed all the duties of Pastor. The following year, he was assigned by Bishop James E. McKnight as the Pastor of Thomas Chapel C.O.G.B.F.
